Okay, I had a very nice weekend ;-)


Firtsly because of prom which was absolutely great. Our performance at midnight was dancing a new choregraphy to "the cellblock tango" from the musical Chicago. Costumes were basically the same like in the movie... it was quite exciting to dance barely clothed in front of 3,000 people but everything went alright. We included our teachers into the performance too and that was a quite good idea, I think.

Secondely, on sunday, I went to Cirque du Soleil - Corteo and it was beautiful! The music was great and the artists had a bed with some kind of trampoline inside, so they jumped in their pajamas like three metres high doing back flips and other artistic stuff. Looked quite funny.

Right now, I'm working for my A-levels in german: Theodor Fontane. Last year, when I visited my sister in Berlin, I bought this film, a very nice movie based on Fontane's novel Effi Briest.

Today...

Today I went swimming in the "Amalienbad", a public swimming pool in Vienna (10th district). Its architecture is beautiful so it's quite ispiring to swim there. Especially today because the weather was nice and sunny and some of the sun rays managed to break through the glass dome.

 

At home I watched this film  (instead of learning for my german exam about Franz Kafka who I find quite depressing) and I was shocked. There's good acting, good characters and an interesting story - interesting but shocking.

Actually I decided to start a blog dedicated to Vienna - a city that I love very much. I think everyone who knows that city can confirm that it is in fact a very beautiful place.
Currently I'm living near Vienna but I'm about to move there in a few months - can't wait!!

I'm not sure if I want this blog to be just about Vienna, maybe I want it to be about all that makes me happy and that interests me..

A few days ago I watched the movie Paris Je T'Aime, a very beautiful romantic movie about different love stories that take place in the city of love. I liked it a lot - now I want  to visit that  incredible city again so badly. It has been years since I've been there the last time. A year or so ago the movie New York I Love You was released - I think it would be a nice idea to shoot such a movie about Vienna: Wien, Ich Liebe Dich. Would be funny. We'll see.
